Claudia:
Claudia's Character is a survivor from the outbreak of the deadly virus which turns friends and family into mindless killing zombie who only crave the livings blood and flesh. Claudia is a female character in her 20's who is living inside the walls of Alexandria safe zone. Above I looked into different female character in the Walking Dead so I could gather visual inspiration for her character and how to portray her.

She locks herself up inside her house and has no contact with the rest of the group because she doesn't like leaving her room. She fantasises about being the main character in her favourite horror films, unfortunately she no longer needs to pretend as she’s living in a real life zombie apocalypse. She has agoraphobia which is an anxiety disorder. She starts going crazy and self harms herself, she is known from the rest of the group for being slightly weird and unsociable. She looks no different from the other women and is an average looking pretty girl however does give herself bodily harm.

I feel the character that relates most to Claudias look will be the character Maggie Greene. I think her features are very natural and pretty and fits the ideal look for my character. I think the above photos shows the standard look for the surviving women in the walking dead because it shows her hair down and naturally wavy and very little make-up on. She looks hot and slightly dirty as washing is limited. The additional makeup I will add to Claudia would be how she self harms so she will have cuts/scratches on herself.
First Practise:
I experimented with creating mt Claudia Character on myself at home, for the look I kept the make-up really simple and kept the hair natural. I started with the base make-up which I applied minimal foundation, powdered the face and then contoured the face slightly with bronzer. I then filled the brows in with a brown pencil and put one layer of black mascara on the top lashes, and on the lips were a mix of a pink/red colour and Vaseline. For dirt on the face on body I used two different browns and uses a blusher brush to apply over the body and then uses glycerine on the chest and face to give a sweaty look, I think next time I will try baby oiling the skin to give the hot look. For hair after washing it I left it dry natural wavy, then brushed through it slightly and then hair sprayed it into place. I also tried experimenting creating scratches on the neck with a product called bloody scab, it a gel blood and dries forming a scab. I also used a bruise wheel and created slight bruising around the cuts.
