Quentin: Face chart & Extras

Face Chart & Hair
This is my Final make-up and hair design which I will be creating on my model for Quentin's
character. After creating previous designs and experimenting with what I like what it will finally look like, I've narrowed my idea down to this final look which portrays what It will look like and where the cuts etc will be placed. For the final look I bought coloured contacts to put in my models eye so they are 'zombie' like and also some tooth stain, the tooth stain is purely painted onto the teeth, however you have to dry the teeth with a cotton bud first and apply it on top. To take it off you simply have to brush you teeth with paste. The hair will be a greasy wet look and will be messy in no particle style. The make-up base will be created with the gelatine, tissue and latex, and then colour and products will be place on top just like I practised the look.

Garments and Extras

When buying my products and extra items for the final look I needed to find garments for Quentin. After researching Quentins character in depth I studied clothing of the walkers to see what type of clothes they wore and colours so my character fitted into the series correctly. Popular clothing items were either plain tops or casual shirts and popular colour were brown/khaki, green, blue, red, grey/black. For my Claudia I went for a dark green/kakhi colour so I wanted to go for something slightly different for Quentin. I chose to go for red and blue colours, so I went into primark and bought a blue short sleeved top and a casual blue/white/red shirt which together cost £8.50. I then needed to change the top to fit my zombie character which consisted of cutting tearing, painting and pouring blood over the top. I didn't want to go over board with the blood as I didn't want it to look ridiculous. Instead of using expensive blood on top I bought some red food colouring at 89p and used that on the top which was just as effective. Another effective look that my character needs is the 'zombie eyes'. To achieve this I bought some coloured contacts and lense wash for the contacts ready for my model to wear them.
